TO ALL

SARNIA RIDING CLUB MEMBERS

Many people have been affected by the economy, and the Sarnia Riding Club is no acceptation. Therefore, the Board is making it easier for you as a member this season with some exciting new options to help off set your membership fees. Here is a brief outline of some of our ideas and the following pages will provide more detailed explanations.

• Beat the 8% HST which comes into effect July 1^st, by paying your membership by April 30, 2010. (interest free payment plan available)
• Volunteer hours at the Sarnia Riding Club can net you a reduction in membership fees.
• Ambassador Program new referral with net you $125.00 in Club Bucks. (last year $50.00), $175 for second successful applicant (last year $75) and $225 for each subsequent successful referral (last year $100).

BEAT THE H.S.T. – Any membership paid in full on or before April 30, 2010 will only have to pay the GST  Memberships paid after April 30, 2010 must pay HST on 11 months of their membership.

Membership Rates

VOLUNTEER HOURS is a new membership fee credit offered this year.  You have the option to pay the full membership fee or take advantage of the volunteer time credit at a lower price.  If you should choose a membership fee with Volunteer hours credit you must have your volunteer hours completed by December 15^th, 2010.  If your hours have not been completed by this time you will be billed for the hours plus HST.  We will be having a spring and fall work day as well as the opportunity to volunteer for social events, helping with programs (tennis, pool, day camp),  as well as many other jobs and activities.  We would like to know the areas that you would be interested in volunteering, you may have an area of expertise that could be of assistance to the club.  Volunteer hours are to be fulfilled by members that are 16 years of age or older.  If more than one on a membership (family/couple) volunteers, the hours can be divided up or they can be completed by one member of the family/couple on behalf of their membership fee credit requirement.

THE AMDASSADOR PROGRAM is designed to recognize the important role that club members play in continuing to make the club successful so we have increased the rewards this year.

Sarnia Riding Club Ambassador Program

Sarnia Riding Club requires your valued support in attaining new members for the club. The Board of Directors realizes that you, as an existing club member, are the club's best resource for attracting and encouraging prospective individuals and families to join.

The Ambassador Program is designed to recognize the important role that club members play in continuing to make the club successful.

The concept is simple.

During the membership year of 2010 through 2011, existing members will be rewarded with "Club Dollars" for each successful referral of a new member. Here's how it works:

     + $125.00 value in Club Dollars for the first successful referral

     + $175.00 value in Club Dollars for your second successful referral

     + $225.00 value in Club Dollars for each subsequent referral

Club Dollars may be redeemed towards recreational or food service at the club during 2010/2011 (June 1^st, 2010 through May 31st, 2011), may not be redeemed for cash.

To qualify for the Club Dollar Reward referrals must be submitted in writing on the referral sheet below.  If multiple referrals have been received in writing for a new member the Club Dollar Reward will be divided.

Each new member will also be awarded:

Family Membership  $200 in club dollars ($100 programs, $100 food & beverage)

Couple Membership $100 in club dollars ($ 50 programs, $   50 food & beverage)

Single Membership  $ 50  in club dollars ($ 25 programs, $  25 food & beverage)
