POOL REGULATIONS

 

 

 

 

 

1. Water wings are NOT permitted in either pool.

2. If a patron is wearing a PFD in the big pool he/she must remain in the SHALLOW END ONLY.

3. A patron must be 10 years old to be permitted to use the high board during open swim.

4. Only foot first entries from the slide.

5. Diving boards and slide are closed a  9 p.m. every night except those nights that special events are scheduled.

6. During leisure swim the boards are closed and water toys are permitted to be used in any area of the pool.

7. Starting blocks are to be used ONLY during swim team, lessons or leisure swim.

8. Flutter boards may be used in the shallow end during open swim; toys may be used in shallow area of the large pool, unless it is leisure swim.

All toys may be used in the baby pool.

9. Diving during open swim, takes place ONLY from either diving board, or from either side between the white lines.

10. After jumping from either diving board, swimmers may only swim towards the shallow end or to the nearest side.

11. When the boards are open,  swimmers may only swim to the second white line in the deep end.

12. The Baby pool is ONLY to be used by the NON SWIMMERS who are accompanied by an adult. (Therefore there is to  be no "Pool Jumping" at adult swim.)

13. Member's children 10 YEARS OF AGE AND YOUNGER (not participating in a supervised lesson) must be accompanied by a guardian at least 12 years of age.

14. Lightning – pool closes for half hour after the last strike of lightning.

15. If an individual behaves in an unsafe manner or inappropriately, privileges maybe suspended for  the balance of the day by the Pool Staff. The General Manager is then provided with a written report.
                  -Subsequent incidents may result in extended suspension of privileges.
                  -General Manager or Pool Manager notifies the member of any suspensions.

16. No shoulder rides (no playing chicken fights)

17. Water bottles are the ONLY beverages permitted on the pool deck (no cans or bottles).

18. If the pool is contaminated, it then must be shocked and closed for at least an hour and a half.

19. No pool equipment (ie. flutter boards and noodles) should leave the pool area (ie. the beach).
